This aim of this group project was to collectively create a piece of architecture that evoked what governance in 2072 would look like. A story board of immersive scenes from the architectural space was to capture the engagement of the viewer through the power of 3D modelling, rendering and photoshop.

The video proposes the visual experience of the architecture and how this portrays the particular narrative of governance 2072.

The group design statement places the architecture in a distance future  Where the dishonest early 21stcentury governance that caused the almost near loss of the natural world, depletion of natural resources, extinction of wildlife and injustice of people is long past. Now a society emerges wishing to link back to our ancient democratic roots to bring back a sense of collective governance to save the people and the environment. This society craves political simplicity from the mayhem of the past. Transparency between political figures and the people of the nation is now a core value which has removed social and democratic inequality. This clarity has allowed fundamental environmental and international affairs to be addressed and worked towards. The environment is now healing, wildlife are now thriving and the people are being heard. Harmony between the elements and the people has proven to bring an equilibrium back into governance. ‘Scotstralia House’ is a symbolic piece of architecture that allows people, politics and the environment to meet together to make decision about the future, just as their ancestors did. The experience in this architecture is constantly reminding one of the powers of nature, through ray of light, the form of a water droplet, the sound of wind and rain, the crackling heat of a fire and sparkly of a stary night. Instilling the human responsibility for the conservation of the earth and reflecting the democratic balance required to continue the huge healing efforts that have already been made.
